How do I get food?

If you are in urgent need of food, speak to your local Citizens Advice Bureau, Job Centre, your doctor, health visitor, social worker or other care professional and they will issue you with a foodbank voucher.

While you wait for your food, sit down with a cup of tea/coffee and chat to the helpers who are ready with a listening ear.  If appropriate, they will point you to other agencies who may be able to help you further.

Bring your voucher into the King's Centre Wednesday 9-11am (or one of the other centres) to get 3 days worth of food.

How can I help?

Please get into the habit of adding a few items to your weekly shop and bringing them into the centre.  Or you can now drop-off your foodbank items at the new Sainsbury's in Hook.

Please only get items from the standard list of long-life items.  If we have run out of specific items, we will let you know below.

This week we urgently need (18 September)

Sugar | Jam | Ketchup | Baked Beans | Juice |

Custard | Noodles | Soup

We update this about noon every Wednesday and also post on Facebook.  It also goes in the weekly church email on Fridays.
