What are you hoping will make your life worth living?
That is a big question, and it's one we're asking all the time. Even when we don't realise it, we are making decisions based on a deep desire to be happy. There is nothing wrong with searching for happiness. We all desire it. Most of us have a plan to try to get it.
The problem is, it just seems so fleeting or just beyond reach. What we think will make us happy, if we achieve it, often falls short.
Is there anything out there that is achievable, and that actually lives up to its promises? Is there anything out there that once we find it will really last?
The Bible says, "Yes, there is!"
Maybe you've tried religion and found it just as empty as any other promise. What the Bible offers us is not religion, its a living relationship with God. That may just sound like a play on words but I -along with many others- have found it to be true.
Would you like to come and explore this claim of the Bible? If so we have an opportunity for you.
This coming Monday, the 26th of September, between 8-9:30 pm, at the King Centre we are starting a new seven-week course, called LIFE Explored.
You won't be asked to pray out loud, and you don't need to know anything about the Bible. You can ask your questions or just sit and listen. It's up to you.
Why not try coming to at least the first week? If it's not for you, we won't pressure you to come back.
Jesus said, "I have come to give you life, and life to the full!"
Isn't that worth exploring?
