Ministry Team

Bobby Warrenburg
Senior Pastor
Bobby is a husband of one and a father of four. Despite appearances and having to set the lectern at the lowest setting, Bobby hails from the great state of Texas. His passion is pastoring, preaching, discipling and destroying the grammar English. Bobby served as a church planter in China and studied theology at Gordon-Conwell Theological Seminary in Boston, Massachusetts. His favourite things of his adopted country are dark ales, country walks, Sunday roasts, the Red Rose and the weather (OK, I made that last bit up.) |
Gareth Edwards
Youth & Families Pastor
Gareth came to know Christ at a school CU camp and this together with time spent as a teacher fuelled his desire to get involved in youth ministry. He increasingly came to see that youth ministry needed to dovetail with work amongst parents. Appointed as Youth and Families Pastor in 2009, Gareth, together with his wife Joanna, experience the daily challenge and blessing of pastoring their own flock of four at home. Sport is his release, and he can be sometimes seen as a lycra blur cycling along the Leatherhead road. |
David Moss
Church & Centre Manager
David wears two hats: As Church Manager he facilitates Church life and as Centre Manager he is responsible for the day to day operation of The King’s Centre. He is an Elder, part of the Ministry Team and a Small Group leader. Married to Heather they have 3 adult children. David has a unique claim to fame – he is the only person to have played in both the Jewish and Christian football Cup Finals! |
Hanna Borsley
Women's Bible Worker
Hanna is married to Jono, a church Elder, and they recently had the joy of a baby boy. Prior to joining the staff of CEC, Hanna spent a couple of years working for St Peter’s Barge, London’s only floating church. Hanna initially started out as a Chemistry teacher and then went on to complete the Cornhill Bible training course. Hanna loves meeting up with women, talking about Jesus & enjoying a good cup of tea - all 3 at the same time is ideal! |
Peter Hayden
Small Groups Pastor
Peter is responsible for small groups ministry and co-ordinating pastoral care and world mission. He met Gwyneth, a Welsh missionary “kid”, at University in Liverpool and they have three grown-up daughters. Before joining the Ministry team in 2005 he was on the staff of Friends International, a mission working with international students in the UK. His idea of a good day off is watching England beating Wales at rugby! |
